I ran out of paper the other day but had a few old books lying around and the outdated, Soviet-listed version of 1968 atlas particularly caught my eye. The maps were lovely, the information rivetting, yet with the bounds of the Soviet Empire being listed made me quiver.
Within each page was a starting point to react with the shapes the land masses suggested, and a few weeks later… The Artlas appeared
