Cedar wood dominates the features of many a home, and charred cedar, Yakisuga, is the most revered. Here is plain cedar, humble in its preparation yet marvellously weathered over time and today, highlighted by the rain, My take on the surface texture is a mash-up of the different directions, a tribute to mid-Mondrian.
