Natural ochres of a city’s night light

Flying into a city at night is one of the pleasures of flying: it not only signifies the arrival at a destination but it also gives one a perspective of the largess of a town in small details, like a child’s imagination of Toy Town. And at night, it sparkles like a spreading Christmas.

With a slightly longer exposure, I can twist and zoom the lens to make the sparkles stretch and dance, cascading colour lines into each other like a frenzied histogram.
